Professional Birding Tour for 6 bird-seekers

• Tour given April or May 2020, 8am-12pm. Exact date TBD by winning bidder and Professional Guide (weather dependent)
• Search for birds aboard a 23' Carolina Skiff in Tampa Bay
• Guests can bring the following for their comfort: Food and drinks beyond water to put in a cooler, binoculars if desired. A few pairs of binoculars will be provided for tour. Towels and sunscreen suggested if the groups wishes to visit the beach for land birding during the tour.

About the Guide: Eric Plage is a Tampa Bay Watch scientist and Professional Birder with a lifetime of experience. Eric has been birding since the age of 7 and has seen 620 species of birds in the US. 375 of these species have been located in Florida. Join Tampa Bay Watch President Peter Clark for a 2 hour sunset eco-trip for 8 people by boat to photograph North America's second largest bird - the American White Pelican. Winter time visitors to Tampa Bay, the White Pelican, can be found in large numbers around Tampa Bay Watch Marine Center & Shell Key Preserve. The tour will start 2 hours before sunset to take advantage of the golden light and will visit several wildlife sanctuaries. Dates will depend on tide and weather; best times are in November and December.
