Arniqe's original artwork was used on this scarf. A humble 14-year-old who is passionate about art and music, Arniqe began with Lalela in 2013 and is now a leader among her peers. Through Lalela, she has gained confidence, learned to play the violin and has achieved high grades in school.

This scarf's original artwork was created by Mark in the Hout Bay region of Cape Town. A lead art facilitator and dedicated member of the team, Mark has become a mentor to the many learners that he teaches. Mark began as a student at Lalela's inception in 2010 and has grown from a shy boy with no confidence to a talented artist - through Lalela he truly found his voice.
