Nemours Mansion and Gardens in Wilmington, Delaware is the 300-acre country estate of the late Alfred I. duPont. Nemours Estate comprises an exquisite, 77-room mansion, the largest formal French gardens in North America, a Chauffeur's Garage housing a collection of vintage automobiles used on the Estate, and nearly 200 acres of scenic woodlands, meadows and lawns.
The Nemours Mansion was inspired by Versailles and has the largest formal French garden in North America. Originally built in 1910 by Alfred I. du Pont for his second wife, Alicia du Pont, the mansion was recently reopened after a $39 million restoration that took 3 years. The estate grounds include a maze garden, a Temple of Love, and an oval reflecting pool.
Winner receives a 2019 Season Family Pass - Good through Dec 2019. Pass provides access for two adults and up to four children.
The mansion and gardens are open for tours between May and December.
