Artist bio:

Iviva Olenick is a Brooklyn-born and -based artist working with textile craft processes, language, social history and public interaction. She
was 2017-18 Artist in Residence at Wyckoff House Museum, Brooklyn, NY; has received five Brooklyn Arts Council Community Arts Fund grants and a SU-CASA grant; and has exhibited her work locally and nationally.

Exhibition venues include the Center for Book Arts, NYC; Wyckoff House Museum, Brooklyn, NY; Old Stone House, Brooklyn, NY; Philadelphia Museum of Art; MODA (Museum of Design Atlanta), Atlanta, GA; among others. Iviva is also a faculty member of SVA's MFA Art Practice Program, and an educator for numerous local cultural institutions, including the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Center for Book Arts. Iviva holds a BA in Psychology/French Language and Literature and an AAS in Textile/Surface Design.
