Inspiration: "This mannequin was created by the artist SNIPT with intention of creating a piece of art using the human form, while paying homage to the fashion houses that we aspire to wrap our bodies in. Throughout the decades, we've seen these classic fashion houses taking us from season to season, offering us new collections while still keeping in line with looks that are classic. The ability to be fluid, while maintaining distinctive signature, is what ties powerful art and iconic brands together. Although the cuts may change, the lines may bend, the colors may fade or explode, the result is the same: The body that wears the art becomes the canvas that is forever on display. Like fashion houses, our body may transition from one look to another, but under it all is the base that makes us who we are. At our core like a brand logo, is our distinct signature which allows us to flow from one season to another while maintaining who we are. Parallelled to this multi layered collage and paint creation titled "Ephemeral Timelessness" our canvas/body has seen many layers and looks, while still coming together to create something beautiful, yet chaotically cohesive. We are what we wear, and what we wear is the canvas that we want to show the world."
