Use your new hat while enjoying a private guided tour of CT's Candlewood Lake in style. Pushing off from the shores of a private residence, you will experience a comfortable ride via Pontoon Boat and discover the beauty and grandeur of this CT treasure.

Candlewood Lake is CT's largest lake and is the result of a 1926 decision by Connecticut Light and Power Company to create the first large-scale operation of pumped storage facilities in the US. If emergency power was needed, the water would be let down the "penstock" through a huge turbine, in order to produce electricity. Now enjoyed for its' exceptional recreational value, the private property around Candlewood has been transformed into some of the most expensive real estate in the state.

In addition to the on-lake tour, you will enjoy a picnic lunch or dinner along with an opportunity to kayak, row, fish or even swim! Make your lake day a fun excursion for you and a few family members.
