It is said that a tiger stares you in the eye like no other living creature. This watercolor wash with sepia tones captures one of the many Faces of Tasha.

Tasha is a beautiful and charismatic female tiger at Carolina Tiger Rescue, where she is known for her tendency to display different moods often at a moment's notice. One second she is chuffling, rolling, or engaging in hide-and-seek behavior, but in a flash, she shows you that she is indeed an ambush predator! This artwork portrays the intensity of Tasha's stare while her "predator face" remains partially hidden by leafy foliage. In the wild, tigers seem to appear and disappear at will, as they are so perfectly camouflaged within the thick forests of their natural habitat.
