Popcorn For All!
Popcorn for everyone!! Our class decorated a large popcorn ceramic bowl from Crate and Barrel and two accompanying mini bowls from the same collection. The students painted the red stripes and each student used their thumb print to create a popcorn kernel on the large bowl! This project will be a great item for your family's next movie night!!

A collage painting of class 2-308's favorite movie characters. The kids each drew their favorite movie character on a piece of paper using sharpies and Oil Pastels, and their drawings were glued to a poster-board and covered in glossy varnish for a shiny finish. Project size is 30"x40"

Our class created a painting with the 'Hollywood stars' on it. The kids wrote their names on gold starts and decorated their star to show what makes each of them shine. The stars were glued, in a confetti-type way, to a black painted background and then covered in resin.
You're a Star in Every Scene
This is a storyboard the children created, from Meta Moment to Peace, where each child contributed to the overall class story their personal growth during this school year. The children considered themes like : perseverance, self-awareness, curiosity, empathy and depicted activities that bring them joy. While each tile is personal to each child in the aggregate, it is quite a story!
Abby & Caitlin and each of their students created their own pixel, the smallest unit of the movies, which we combined into an abstract piece of art. Artwork measures 8" x 10" and overall frame dimensions are 15" x 19"
