Class Art Projects
"Self Portraits" - TK students explored self-portraiture and practiced drawing themselves and some of their defining characteristics.
Title: "In Kindergarten we..." The students each painted a word describing something that they do in Kindergarten each day.
1st Grade "Going Places"
1st graders created colorful drawings of planes, trains, and automobiles (and boats, and hot air balloons too)!
2nd Grade "Dog days"
2nd graders created colorful dog portraits, as an ode to our favorite furry friends.
3rd Grade "Whole Lotta Love"
3rd graders designed zentangles and added colorful hearts.
4th Grade "City Life"
4th graders created skyscrapers to fill this bustling city with life.
5th Grade "Loving Life"
The 5th grade class worked together to beautifully paint small wooden pieces that have been assembled into the shape of a heart.
6th Grade "Peace and Quiet"
6th graders each painted a small nature scene on a wood slice, and the circles were arranged to form a peace sign.
7th Grade "Simply Blessed"
7th graders each painted a small wooden heart, arranged around the words, "Simply Blessed."
