Named after the coveted jewel in the mountain in The Hobbit, Ron and Susan Krausz have been cultivating and producing gem-quality wine at Arkenstone Winery on Howell Mountain since 1988. Two couples are invited to join the Krausz family for three nights of unforgettable experiences atop Napa's oldest AVA region.

Each night of your trip will be spent in style at the luxurious Meadowood Resort, settled among 250 private acres in the heart of Napa Valley. The estate is known for its beautiful, natural setting, gracious hospitality, classic architecture, and traditional pastimes.

Kick off your trip with an in-depth tour and tasting in the caves of Arkenstone followed by dinner at the winery with the Krausz family. Enjoy locally sourced culinary items paired with old and new wines from the Arkenstone cellar.

The next day, join the Krausz family as you indulge yourself in world-class wines from over 40 Howell Mountain wineries at the annual Taste of Howell Mountain wine tasting and auction. Taste of Howell Mountain is the only tasting of its size, pouring wines exclusively from Howell Mountain. For the remainder of your stay, the Arkenstone team will serve as your private concierge service, planning your choice of wine tastings and restaurants visits to ensure your trip is enjoyable and hassle-free. Take home a selection of coveted Arkenstone magnums to commemorate your tasting experience atop Howell Mountain.

This lot includes:

• Three (3) nights for two (2) couples at Meadowood Resort
• Private tour and tasting at Arkenstone Winery
• Four (4) tickets to either Taste of Howell Mountain 2019 or 2020. Taste of Howell Mountain 2019 will be hosted June 15, 2019
• Wine dinner at Arkenstone Winery with the Krausz family
• Arkenstone Winery staff to serve as personal concierge while in Napa Valley, making reservations for you at wineries and restaurants of your choice
• Two (2) 1.5L 2015 Arkenstone NVD Cabernet Sauvignon (RP 92) - one per couple
• Two (2) 1.5L 2015 Arkenstone Estate Red (RP 97) - one per couple
• Two (2) 1.5L 2016 Arkenstone Estate Sauvignon Blanc (RP 91) - one per couple

Restrictions: This lot is date specific valid during Taste of Howell Mountain 2019 or 2020. Dates for Taste of Howell Mountain 2019 will be hosted June 15, 2019, and 2020 is tentatively slated for the same weekend the following year. Reservations must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Should the winning bidders not be able to travel on
the specified weekends, alternative arrangements will be made comparable to the Taste of Howell Mountain experience on mutually agreeable dates. The wine included in this lot will be shipped to the winning bidder directly from the winery following the auction. Expires June 30, 2020.
