Did you know that Asti is made from 100% Moscato grapes? It's true! A true Italian Asti is made from 100% Moscato grapes grown in the Piemonte region of Italy. But only a small percentage of Moscato grapes grown in the Piemonte region can be classified DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). Basically a DOCG classification means that only the highest quality grapes can be used to make wine. It's from these DOCG grapes that we make our Asti.
