Inspired by the human figure, athletes, gesture and interaction, she has scaled her monumental inspirations down to a diminutive collection of figurative utilitarian art for the home.
With a BFA in Graphic Design Folwell's evolution has taken her from growing and operating a successful design firm focused on sports graphics, to teaching at universities while painting, illustrating and ultimately discovering a passion for sculpture.
