Over the 140 year history of Major League Baseball, there have been only 23 official perfect games: 27 batters up, 27 batters down, no errors, hits or walks. The New York Yankees are the only team with three perfect games in their history, including two thrown by San Diegans out of Point Loma High School. Don Larsen threw a perfect game vs. the Brooklyn Dodgers in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series, and David Wells added a perfect game on May 17, 1998 vs. the Twins. David Cone became the third Yankee to pitch a perfect game on July 18, 1999 vs. Montreal. You can own a piece of baseball history by purchasing signed Yankees jerseys from all three.
