He studied both in Europe and New Orleans where he attended the prestigious John McCrady Art School. It was in New Orleans where he learned to master the use of water media under the tutelage of Mary McCrady. His works have been displayed at numerous galleries and form a part of many private collections. In 2010 he was chosen to be one of the featured artists for the book "Nashville Counts" which was dedicated to the flood victims in the Nashville area. The winner of this auction will take home this signed print of his "Bluebird Cafe" Watercolor Painting and two tickets to an upcoming show courtesy of Southwest Airlines - the official partner of the Bluebird Cafe.

Mike Kahnle was born in Marietta, GA. He is on a simple mission: to make the world a better place for all, and mostly for his three daughters. The family of four lives in Nashville, TN where Mike is a landscape architect and artist/sculptor. Most recently, his art was recently part of a show at OZ Arts in Nashville.
