The United Way Disaster Relief Fund will support low-income families who were affected by the current wildfires in Southern California. The fund primarily provides longer-term support to help low-income individuals and families rebuild their lives.
Most recently, over 110,000 acres in Southern California counties have been devastated by wildfires. Many communities are being impacted, creating immediate response and long-term recovery needs for many residents. For those who are already struggling to make ends meet, this disaster can push them into poverty or homelessness.
