Original Artwork: "Untitled," by Jan Hoscan
Take home this spectacular acrylic painting by Jan Hoscan. Jan has been painting for 30 years and his work is in a number of private collections.
He specializes in acrylics and mixed media, creating abstract works influenced by his childhood experiences in various countries; music and issues related to social equity. This painting Jan has said, represents the flow of music in our lives. At 80" wide X 30", this dynamic piece will be a focal point of any room in your home.
You can own a painting of the design for our 30th Annual Summer Fest poster, featuring Freddie Hubbard, from a photo taken of his performance at the first Summer Fest; and Dianne Reeves and Gregory Porter, two headliners from this anniversary year. Designed and painted by San Jose artist Ben Henderson, the beautiful work is 30" wide by 40" and painted in acrylics and shellac on masonite.
If it has a sign in San Jose, there's a good chance that Ben Henderson had a hand in it. The South Bay based multidisciplinary artist pumps out clean, elegant and expressive work, evidencing a casual mastery of everything from typography to illustration in his bold--and increasingly ubiquitous--signage. Ben has designed Summer Fest's posters since 2017.
