Looking for the perfect nautical escape from the city? You and up to 5 friends will enjoy a weekend in beautiful Noank, Connecticut, where you will go on an in-depth tour of the Mystic Seaport Museum with an experienced shipwright and stay overnight in a spectacular home by the water, followed by a continental breakfast on Sunday.

The Mystic Seaport Museum is the largest maritime museum in the United States. It is notable for its collection of sailing ships and boats and for the re-creation of the crafts and fabric of an entire 19th-century seafaring village. It consists of more than 60 historic buildings, most of them rare commercial structures moved to the 19-acre site and meticulously restored. They have the famous Charles Morgan, the last whaling ship existing in the world; the Sabino, the oldest wooden, coal fired steamboat in regular operation in the US. The Seaport is currently renovating a famous replica of the MayFlower for Plymouth, MA.

You guide, Jamie Kirschner, worked on the multi-year restorations of the Charles Morgan, the Sabino, and now the Mayflower. He is a wonderful communicator of the history and lore of these ships.

Restrictions: Limited to the weekend of the 14th or 21st in September 2019, or any weekend in October 2019. Limited to 3 couples. Does not include transportation to Noank.
