These embryo calves (Lots 9-11) were produced from a planned mating that combines powerful representatives of two elite cow lines. The exceptional growth cow JVP 298 is the original import cow in the maternal line. NAKAZAKURA is a high volume, balanced, powerful base of the sire's maternal line. The sire sequence of the dam (ESF Z0278-16-237) is FUKUTSURU 068, MICHIFUKU then WESTHOLME Z278. 237 is a high volume correct cow.
The sire of these heifers is LMR RMW ITOMORITAKA 1430 "ROCKY", one of the most widely used bulls in the US. No Wagyu bull born in the last 10years has more US registered progeny. No Wagyu bull born in the US is known to have produced more full blood carcasses, which are consistently stand outs in marbling fineness and rib eye size. "ROCKY's" dam (767T) is a cow that is extraordinary in many categories transmitting exceptional carcass merit and breed leading phenotype. 767T has produced more show champions than any other cow in the breed. In addition the "ROCKY" daughters are stand out mothers in every herd they are in.
