We are throwing a private Transmission dance party for you at the Uptown VFW with DJ Jake Rudh. Jake Rudh is a DJ on the Current radio station and is well-known for his weekly Minneapolis-based post-punk, new wave and indie dance nights.

Bike and Brew Tour IV What happens when a salesman, a business analyst and a finance guy bike into Northeast Minneapolis to get a beer? Come find out as Joel Chechik, Joe Sweet and Bob Weil host the Bike and Brew IV. May 11,
2019. We'll start mid-afternoon and get home before dark, visiting a few brew pubs and maybe even a distillery or cider spot. Any "skill level" can join, but you must WEAR a helmet and should bring a bike lock. Total riding = 15-18 miles, with approximately four stops along the way. May 11, 2019. Wood Fired Lunch with Dr. Favor. Principal, Dr Favor and the Southwest leadership team invite you to bake with them at 1000 plus degrees! This is a casual gathering to discuss anything and everything with our new leaders. We will be cooking up flat bread baked in a Pompeii style oven made from 95% repurposed materials. Fire-Roasted Feast with Erik Sather from Lowry Hill Meats and Southwest Assistant Principal Lacy Cannon. Join Performing Arts Council President George Stagg and his wife Anna as Erik takes over their brick oven and fire pit to prepare roasts, birds, steaks, and vegetables for a celebration feast honoring Southwest High School and its Performing Arts programs. Twelve guests will enjoy live music, specially paired drinks, and a multiple course, interactive fire-roasted feast, served family style.
