Oil pastels were used to recreate this famous painting by Vincent van Gogh. Each student was responsible for reproducing a section of the masterpiece. Students had to look carefully at the lines, shapes, and colors in order to create a piece similar to the original. This was also a cooperative activity since students needed to work together to make sure the elements lined up with adjacent pieces. (oil pastel)
6th graders had fun creating these imaginative animals. The bright colors and bold lines are inspired by the Woodland art style of Northwest Native Americans. The students used pen, watercolor and colored pencil in these fun designs. (pen, liquid watercolor, Prismacolor pencils)
