Junior Kindergarten students had fun choosing colors and making these delightful handprint fish. They added details for the mouth and eyes using their fingerprints. (Biocolor paints)
Each senior kindergarten student was given a canvas panel to decorate. Students were given an assortment of colored paints, foam rollers, and stamping tools to create these wonderful abstract designs. (acrylic paint on canvas panels)
Using pen and watercolor, first grade students depicted this sea turtle with images that bring to mind joy and happiness. From beach sunsets to birthday cake and butterflies, this piece is sure to bring a smile to the viewer. (pen/watercolor)

Fourth grade students used blending techniques to create this wonderful pond scene. They used oil pastels on black paper to create their dragonfly or plant designs. (oil pastel)
Oil pastels were used to recreate this famous painting by Vincent van Gogh. Each student was responsible for reproducing a section of the masterpiece. Students had to look carefully at the lines, shapes, and colors in order to create a piece similar to the original. This was also a cooperative activity since students needed to work together to make sure the elements lined up with adjacent pieces. (oil pastel)
6th graders had fun creating these imaginative animals. The bright colors and bold lines are inspired by the Woodland art style of Northwest Native Americans. The students used pen, watercolor and colored pencil in these fun designs. (pen, liquid watercolor, Prismacolor pencils)
