2019 LA Gala Honoree: Jeff Frieden
Grateful Americans Charity 2019 Honoree
It is our privilege to honor Jeff Frieden at the 2019 Masquerade Ball - Unmasking the Stigma
Surrounding PTSD on June 8th at the Newport Beach Country Club.
Jeff was raised by a military war veteran and has an unwavering sense of respect and loyalty to the men and women of the military that give so much of themselves every day for all of us. Jeff is one of the founding benefactors of Grateful Americans Charity. His generous and unwavering support has helped us raise awareness of PTSD, and to address veteran homelessness resulting from the disorder which affects thousands of veterans and their families. Each and every event held by Grateful Americans Charity has benefitted from Jeff's support. He has helped make it possible, in just three short years, to raise enough funds to save over 1000 veterans' lives.
Did you know?
On any given night, 62,619 veterans have no home, with the highest population of homeless veterans living right here in Southern California.
We lose a veteran to suicide every 65 minutes and in the last 10 years the number of veteran's suicides are 2 - 3x's that of civilian suicides.
The unfortunate saying among veterans is, "Delay, deny until I die." This is an unacceptable state of affairs that cannot be allowed to continue.
We invite everyone to join us in this cause and to help us celebrate our 2019 honoree, Jeff Frieden, for his passion and commitment to saving the lives of veterans that fought to defend this country.
