A Message from our Board of Trustees President
Dear Friends of St. Anthony School,
I am pleased to announce that for the first time in our short history, we are DEBT FREE and aggressively working our "A TIME TO BUILD" Capital Campaign to raise funds for a new quality facility.
As we enter our thirteenth school year, it is gratifying to look back at all of the love and support St. Anthony's has received from the White Mountain communities and beyond. Our school began in the fall of 2006 with 34 students in pre-k through first grade. We enter this school year with 154 students from pre-k through eighth grade. Our diverse student body comes from as far south as Fort Apache and Whiteriver and as far north as Snowflake. We have White Mountain Apache, Navajo, Hispanic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Uzbek, and Caucasian students in a cohesive, happy student body. Our teachers are talented, and focused every day on helping each child succeed.
Our families are dedicated to obtaining a solid Catholic education for their children--one which emphasizes academic excellence and shaping each child's character through Christian values.
Our students are doing well. Our standardized test scores consistently average anywhere from a year to two years above grade level, our sports teams have captured numerous championships, and our community service program helps establish the good habit of helping others as a lifetime pursuit.
We are very grateful for your support of such an education for the young people of the White Mountains. Without your generosity, we would not exist. As we embark on our "A TIME TO BUILD" capital campaign, to build a worthy school facility--a gym and surrounding classrooms--we are hoping you might once again lend your support to such a worthy cause. After all, what is nobler than to educate a child and help them begin life with strong values and the idea that loving God by helping others is the purpose of life?
Thank you very much!
President Board of Trustees
