Dive in to your own private whale-watching tour off the coast of picturesque Baja California. For nature-lovers and adventure enthusiasts, this is one trip you won't want to miss.
You and seven guests will take a luxury charter flight to Guerro Negro in Baja in a King Air 350 Turboprop, accompanied by your tour guide Dick Gebhard. Once landed, you will then travel past the scenic Exportadora de Sal, one of the world's largest salt exporters, and marvel at the immense mountains of salt. From there, you will get the opportunity to touch, play and interact with the gray whales in their natural habitat.
After a full day of playing with the gray whales you'll be treated to lunch and beverages before you start the journey home. This incredible experience will be preserved on video for you by your tour guide, who will film the experience. You will also receive your very own memorable keepsake video, which will forever remind you of your extraordinary encounter with these majestic gray whales.
Terms & Conditions: This is a 1-day trip that must be taken in the month of February or March (best time of year to see the gray whales before migration). Trip can be redeemed beginning February 25th - March 15th of 2019, OR at a similar date range to be determined in 2020. Winning bidder must be available to travel at any given date for an entire week pending weather and wind conditions. Once weather conditions are analyzed, single date of travel will be chosen in order to have best experience with the whales. Winning bidder must be flexible with date of travel and must be available to travel at any day for a chosen week. Winning bidder is required to coordinate airfare and date of travel with West Coast Aviation. Trip scheduling also must be coordinated with tour guide, Dick Gebhard. No refunds. Winning bidder is required to sign waiver night of CHOC Gala when picking up their package at check-out. Footage of your experience will be given directly to CHOC for creation of memorable keepsake video.
