Welcome to the Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy (NDPMA) Parents Club 22nd Annual Fashion Show "Studio 2019"! The Fashion Show has become an annual tradition where family, friends, and guests come together with the NDPMA community to share in delicious food, beautiful fashions and great company.

Every year our Committee gets together during our planning sessions with the expressed intent to improve on the previous years' Shows. We focus on enhancing your experience by adding elements of uniqueness to every program. This year we took inspiration from the legendary "Disco Scene" born in the 1970's.

Our Show Theme "Studio 2019" was created from the Disco Scene born in the early late 1960's to 1970's. Disco is a music genre and subculture that emerged in the 1970s from the United States' urban nightlife scene. Disco started at underground movement, then the film Saturday Night Fever (December 1977) helped turn the simmering subculture into a mainstream fad, resulting is a 30-fold increase in disco clubs. By the late 1970s, most major U.S. cities had thriving disco club scenes, and DJs would mix dance records at clubs such as The Electric Circus, Ice Palace 57, Studio 54 and Hurrah were popular venues among celebrities. Disco is made up of parts of different musical traditions, including soul, funk, Motown and even salsa and meringue. This is music meant to be danced to and was a precursor to club music, trance and hip-hop music of the 1990s and beyond.

The NDPMA Fashion Show is a Parent's Club Sponsored event. All proceeds raised during this event go to supplement school arts programming and student/parent events.
We have an exciting evening planned for you that we know you are going to enjoy. In addition to a wonderful evening of wine, music, food, entertainment and exquisite company we have planned additional activities to enhance your experience, while assisting us in our fundraising goals.

Our "Wine Cellar Pull" gives our guests an opportunity to win a bottle of wine valued at $25 or more. You just purchase a cork pull, draw it and check the number on the bottom and claim your bottle of wine with the same number. This is a fun event and everyone's a winner.

We are so excited to have Olivia Millerschin as our Emcee this year. Olivia Millerschin is a native Detroiter that captivates audiences with her celestial voice, wrapping them in a gossamer blend of vintage folk and modern pop. A 23 year-old singer-songwriter has composed and released two full-length albums. Her latest record, Look Both Ways, was nominated for a 2018 Independent Music Award in the category of Best Adult Contemporary Album. Millerschin has won two John Lennon Songwriting Awards and the Great American Song Contest, was a quarter finalist on America's Got Talent, and is featured alongside musical greats Tony Bennett and Ingrid Michaelson on Republic Records soundtrack to Mitch Albom's latest novel. Self-described as "top end of mediocre, low-end of fabulous," Olivia plays ukulele, piano, and guitar in addition to singing and songwriting.
