We've loved this heifer from the moment she hit the ground, and she just keeps getting better. She has all the makings of a big-time cow and a standout calf raiser, making her a definite donor prospect. Goggle-eyed and black to the ground, she combines tremendous thickness, length of spine and depth of body with an impressive rib shape and outstanding growth. She's the kind of female that has the potential to make a lasting impact in any breeding program. She had the highest 205-day weight of any heifer in this sale at 630 lbs. She has an impressive set of EPD's to back up her phenotype with 12 EPD's in the top 10% and 5 of them in the top 1%.
Her dam is /S Lady York 782E and was used extensively in the Tennessee River Music program in Fort Payne, AL as a proven donor. She was purchased by TRM form the 2019 Shaw Female Sale for $33,500. Needmore Cattle Company purchased her from TRM in the 2022 Dixieland Delight. Since arriving on our farm, we have aspirated her multiple times with an impressive average of 28 frozen IVF embryos per flush - all grade 1's and 2's with the majority of them being quality grade 1. This kind of fertility and consistency is hard to find and speaks volumes about the strength of the maternal side of this pedigree. 782E also brings to the table her exceptional growth genetics. With genetics like that behind this Comstock heifer, you can expect her to carry on that same high level of reproductive performance. Her sire is Woodhill Comstock G519. This Angus bull is packed full of both maternal and carcass traits. He has 14 EPD's in the top 10% and 8 in the top 5%. His $M (maternal traits) is in the top 1% and his $C (combined maternal and carcass traits) is in the top 4%.
Needmore Lady Comstock 1816 has the pedigree, phenotype, performance, and epd's that will make her an elite donor and move any breeding program forward. She's the complete package. She's built to produce. Don't miss this opportunity to add this powerful Comstock daughter to your herd as a future donor!
Lot 7 is her flush mate.

If you want style and balance with a very impressive set of EPD's, this is the one! These kind don't come around very often. This blaze-faced heifer has 9 EPD's in the top 1% and 2 other traits in the top 10%. She has the highest WW, YW, TM and TI of any of the 7 F1's in this sale, with a 99 WW, 155 YW, 91 TM and 137 TI. Now that's impressive! I might add that her API is a 227, and it's not even the highest of this group. I suggest to anyone interested that you pull up her epd's on the ABHA website in order to really appreciate how high numbered she is in over 3/4 of her maternal and carcass traits. She has an excellent disposition as well. She's out of the same sire as Lot 2. (See info about Woodhill Comstock G519 under Lot 2.) Her dam is the very impressive MS GENESIS J49 cow, Lot 1. (See info on this dam under Lot 1.) GENESIS J49 boasts an excellent udder, and when you combine that with the sire's outstanding Milk, Teat, and Udder EPDs, ranking in the top 2%, 4%, and 2%, respectively, the future looks bright for Needmore Lady Comstock 2316 to develop into a female with an exceptional udder of her own as well as having excellent carcass traits. For Black Hereford breeders looking to produce the next generation of high-performing cattle with outstanding EPDs, this heifer deserves serious consideration for the donor pen!
She is a flush mate to Lots 4, 5 and 6.

This is the kind of heifer that grabs your attention and won't let you turn away. We've all heard of people that are very photogenic - well, this heifer would fit in that category. She's got that look and without a doubt, she is the deepest-bodied and thickest-ended heifer in the sale. At just 9 months of age, it will be hard to find another heifer that can match her depth of body and overall thickness. All 11 heifers have outstanding dispositions, but this one is as gentle as a baby doll. She's incredibly easy-going and carries herself with her head held high and commands attention with her eye-catching phenotype. She's one that truly stands out from the crowd! She has an impressive set of EPD's to go along with her eye-catching ability. She has 9 EPD's in the top 5% with 5 of them in the top 1%. She is a flush mate to Lots 3, 5 and 6, so be sure to read the information under Lots 1,2 and 3 for more details on her sire and dam. The pairing of Comstock G519 and Genesis J49 has been a major hit. These heifers are going to be big time producers! This heifer is another possible donor!

I know, I know - another Lady Comstock! Well, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. That's my philosophy. A really good heifer is a really good heifer, and you don't have to chase the latest genetics to raise outstanding cattle. This Lot 5 heifer is another stylish, eye-catching, well-balanced female with the length of body and muscle thickness to put her right at the top with the rest of this outstanding set. She is a flush mate to Lots 3, 4 and 6, so be sure to read the information under Lots 1,2 and 3 for more details on her sire and dam. She's another high EPD heifer with 10 traits ranked in the top 5%. Sometimes, high EPD cattle can raise concerns about fleshing ability, but that certainly isn't the case with these F1 females. They are easy-fleshing, practical cattle, and that trait comes from both sides of the pedigree. She's another one that checks all the boxes. You can't go wrong here either. Should I say, "donor potential"?

I don't want to sound like a broken record and keep repeating the same things over and over again about these heifers, but I'm running out of things to say. They are all exceptional females that are loaded with maternal and carcass traits with excellent dispositions, and this Lot 6 heifer is no exception. She has 9 EPD's in the top 5% with 2 other traits in the top 10%. She has the second highest TM EPD of the 7 F1's in this sale at an 88, and the highest API of any in this group with a 230. Yeah, that's right, a 230!! She is a flush mate to Lots 3, 4 and 5, so be sure to read the information under Lots 1,2 and 3 for more details on her sire and dam. Just close your eyes and pick one. You can't go wrong on any of them.

Now, on to the reds! This offering of 4 Hereford heifers (Lots 9-12) doesn't disappoint. The quality and genetics that have already been presented by the F1's is still highly visible in these Herefords. This homozygous polled, Bullseye heifer is stout and heavy boned.
