Adina Klein was born and raised in New Canaan, CT, where she still lives today with her husband, Gabriel, and their beautiful 5-year-old daughter. Adina's journey into dance began seven years ago when she and her husband decided they wanted to create a special wedding dance. After the wedding, Adina had a few dance lessons left -- and once she started dancing again, she never stopped!
She has always spoken about how special dance is to her and how it makes her feel truly alive. Her passion shines through every time she performs and competes. Growing up, Adina was a talented gymnast and was always active, bringing her love of movement and performance into everything she did. She graduated from Lynn University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
Adina is paired with Fred Astaire Professional Marko Micic
Marko Micic is an accomplished international ballroom dancer, instructor, and the Owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studio New Canaan.
Originally from Serbia, Marko began dancing competitively at just eight years old. During his competitive career, he earned 10 National Championship titles in Ballroom, Latin, and 10-Dance and proudly represented Serbia at World and European Championships as a member of the Serbian National Team.
A true performer at heart, Marko was also a professional dancer on the Serbian version of Dancing with the Stars and performed for four years at the Belgrade Terazije Theatre in productions including Chicago and Mamma Mia.
Marko joined the Fred Astaire Dance Studios family in 2018 and has continued to compete professionally in both Smooth and Rhythm while dedicating himself to teaching and inspiring his students.
Today, as the Owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studio New Canaan, Marko is passionate about sharing his love of dance, developing new talent, and helping his students shine both on and off the dance floor.
