For those who have had one...or two...or more foster fails, this is your campaign page to fund. I have never fostered before. My husband and I always had or rescued mid to large size dogs so we decided to foster small dogs as we would never fall in love, right? Well foster number #1 - Roxy - many may remember her as a small black chi with a fungal skin condition. We were going to foster until she was adoptable....we did....and we adopted her. Never thought we would be a small dog family, but how she changed our opinions and added so much to our home and lives.
Foster #2 - Smoochie (now Maddie) - again why would we want to add another small dog...even smaller ! Not only was she a foster fail but a major foster fail. Once her medical issues were taken care of, I returned her to the shelter to be adopted. Several hours and phone calls later, another foster fail happened, and drove back for our foster fail #2. Per hubby no more fostering !
Long story short, these foster fails would never have happened if not for the work, care and love of the HSSPV staff and volunteers. Please donate to all those foster fails and all those waiting to be fostered and failed or adopted.
