Amanda Mavourneen is head of IT for Schneider Electric's North America Front Office and Chief of Staff to its North America CIO, connecting the company's customers and employees to the digital platforms and tools that shape their experience. Working at the intersection of IT and the business, Amanda helps direct the technology behind Schneider Electric's customer-facing operations while driving the strategy, coordination, and execution that keep the North America IT organization aligned and moving forward.
A career spanning IT, business, and transformation
With more than 30 years of experience across IT and business leadership, Amanda has built a track record of running complex programs, leading high-performing teams, and delivering transformation at scale. She joined Schneider Electric in 2014 through the acquisition of Invensys, where she led the Global IT PMO. Over more than a decade with the company, she has held roles spanning both IT and the business, including Director of Business Transformation for the Titan ERP program and Head of IT for several customer-facing segments, among them Field and Digital Services, Customer Call Centers, and Customer Projects. Before Schneider Electric, she led IT for Red River, a value-added reseller, managed services provider, and Schneider Electric APC partner, and held IT leadership roles at LoJack, Dell/EMC, and ACI Worldwide. Amanda is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Beyond Schneider Electric
Amanda holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's in Technology Management from Lesley University. She sits on the Board of Directors of SIM Boston, the largest and oldest chapter of the Society for Information Management, where she served as president in 2019 and ran the annual SIM Boston Technology Leadership Summit for Boston-area IT executives for 10 years. She is also a co-founder of Doe Camp Nation, a nonprofit community of active women dedicated to finding adventure, building friendships, and learning new outdoor skills. Amanda splits her time between Boston and the mountains of Vermont.
