I have been in EMS since 2008, currently working as a paramedic since 2014. I am also the current planning manager for the CT Urban Search & Rescue Team as well as a Staff Sergeant with the Second Company Governor's Footguard. I hung up my turn-out gear several years ago, but worked as a firefighter, both career and volunteer for several years... and my experience as a first responder seeing the toll losing a loved one has on families, but kids especially, is what led me to want to help raise funds for the Adam's House with this amazing fundraiser! At home, I live with my husband, 3 dogs and 2 VERY large rabbits and run a non-profit that provides peer-to-peer mental health assistance to first responders and military personnel across the country.
Fun Fact About Me: I am concurrently learning 6 languages! Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, German, and American Sign Language!
