The photograph is part of Tatakis's acclaimed Caryatis project, a long-term photographic study of women wearing traditional local dress across Greece, photographed in their places of origin. Based in Athens, Tatakis's work has been exhibited and published internationally, including at the Benaki Museum and in National Geographic and The New York Times. Caryatis is set to be published as a book in 2026.

Born in Helsinki in 1976, Hinnemo grew up between Finland, Sweden, and Russia. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Miami, Boston, Provincetown, and Stockholm, and has been reviewed by The New York Times, The New Yorker, Time Out New York, and The New York Sun. She currently lives and works in Springs, Long Island.

His work has been featured in leading art publications including The New York Times, Artforum, Art in America, The New Yorker, and ARTnews. Negroponte has also taught painting and drawing at institutions including Parsons School of Design, the School of Visual Arts, and Princeton University. He lives and works in East Hampton, New York.
