Go behind the scenes at Michigan Humane and experience the rewarding work of caring for animals in need. As a teaching hospital, Michigan Humane provides hands-on learning opportunities to hundreds of students each year through its Veterinary Career Pathway Program.

The winning bidder will spend six hours shadowing a shelter veterinarian, gaining a firsthand look at the skill, compassion, and dedication behind lifesaving shelter medicine. Observe daily operations, learn about veterinary care in an animal welfare setting, and see the impact your support has on both homeless pets and future veterinary professionals.

The experience also includes lunch with a member of Michigan Humane's leadership team, offering an inside look at our mission, programs, and vision for the future.

Restrictions: Participant must be 18 or older, or accompanied by an adult. Experience must be scheduled in advance on a mutually agreed-upon date and will take place at either Michigan Humane's Detroit or Westland shelter.
