[title of show] (Yes! That is the title of the show)
Written By Jeff Bowen Music and Lyrics By Hunter Bell
February 18-20, 25-27 at 7:30 PM | February 21 & 28 at 3:00 PM
Ever panicked so hard about a work deadline that you accidentally created an entire Broadway musical about your panic? Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen did. This musical follows two desperately struggling writers and two delightfully enabler-adjacent actress friends as they attempt to create a brand-new musical completely out of thin air in just 21 days. It's a backstage comedy filled with existential dread, artistic insecurity, and ridiculously catchy songs about trying to make it in show
business.
Come experience the hilarious, unfiltered train wreck of inspiration that proves any bad idea can become art... if you add a piano.
The Play That Goes Wrong
Play by Henry Lewis, Henry Shields, and Jonathan Sayer
April 29-May 1, May 6-8 at 7:30 PM | May 2 & May 9 at 3:00 PM
The Play That Goes Wrong is the only show on Earth that proudly guarantees a 100% disaster rate. Written by the delightfully sadistic geniuses Henry Lewis, Henry Shields, and Jonathan Sayer, this laugh-out-loud comedy invites you to witness the opening (and quite possibly closing) night of The Murder at Haversham Manor, staged by the aggressively incompetent Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society. When everything that can go wrong does, the result is one of the funniest comedies ever to hit the stage.
Imagine Sherlock Holmes colliding head-on with Monty Python, and nobody surviving the crash.
Every Brilliant Thing
Play By Duncan McMillan and Jonny Donahue
June 17-19, 24-26 at 7:30 PM | June 20 & 27 at 3:00 PM
Every Brilliant Thing is a beautiful, life-affirming celebration
of human connection that will leave you holding your loved ones a little tighter. What begins as a seven-year-old child's simple gift to a depressed mother, a list of everything worth living for, from ice cream to the color yellow, grows into a lifelong journey of resilience, hope, and healing. Written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, this remarkably funny and deeply moving one-person play reminds us that even in our darkest moments, the world is still filled with quiet miracles.
More than just a performance, Every Brilliant Thing is an interactive theatrical experience. Together, as an audience, you'll help bring the story to life, sharing laughter, tears, and a heartfelt reminder that even the smallest moments can make life extraordinary.
Ghost Light
Written by Ira David Wood IV
October 21-23, 28-30 at 7:30 PM | October 24 & 31 at 3:00 PM
Ghost Light invites you into a theatre where the stage never truly
went dark. It is the summer of 2020. Outside, the world is locked down,
isolated, and coming apart. Theatres across America have closed their doors, except one. Deep within an old playhouse in Raleigh, North Carolina, a different kind of door has quietly swung open. A door for the dead. Welcome to a haunting theatrical limbo where memory, performance, and the afterlife collide. Here, the ghosts of actors, playwrights, stagehands, and dreamers from every generation of American theatre are mysteriously drawn together. Funny, unsettling, deeply theatrical, and unexpectedly heartfelt, Ghost Light is a moving meditation on life, death, art, memory, and the enduring human desire to be seen before the lights finally go out.
