A Week in Baja for Two!
Live ItemA wildlife-packed adventure in the breathtaking Espiritu Santo Island National Park!
For many years, Montana-based Sea and Adventures, Inc., representing the La Paz-based Mar Y Aventuras S.A. de C.V. adventure travel company, has provided MNHC supporters with incredible whale watching and sea kayaking opportunities! They have again donated a 7-day Baja adventure for two people!
On this Espiritu Santo Island Expedition, guests will snorkel with friendly sea lions and among tropical fish, kayak the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez, walk among giant cactus or try their hand at fishing!
Upon arrival at the famous Espiritu Santo Island (ESI) National Park you'll settle into a beautiful camp on a white sand beach caressed by turquoise waters with volcanic cliffs and towering cactus as back drop. Camp consists of walk-in tents, each complete with two cots, pads and pillows for a restful night's sleep.
Professional guides will provide sea kayaking excursions tailored to abilities from beginner to advanced paddlers. As you kayak or travel by boat along the shores of ESI it's common to see manta rays and dolphins leaping from the sea's surface. Having skiffs accompany your trip allows you to participate in activities not possible if traveling by kayak alone.
Don't miss this opportunity for spectacular wildlife events with kayaking, snorkeling , hiking and fishing while camping in comfort at our luxury camp on the beautiful island of Espiritu Santo.

6-Day Rafting on the Salmon!
Live ItemNow is your chance to explore the Salmon! Join the expert crew of Hughes River Expeditions for a fully-guided 6-day rafting adventure for two on the Middle Fork of the Salmon*!
The Middle Fork is famous as America's best river rafting trip. The area offers an incredible variety of wildlife, including Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, mountain goat, mule deer, elk, cougar, black bear, otter, coyote, osprey, eagle, forest grouse, chukar partridge, and kingfisher. From the put-in at Boundary Creek (elevation 5,700 ft.) to the take-out at Cache Bar, 100 miles downstream, the Middle Fork descends 2,700 feet. You'll float through dense forests, along sage and mountain mahogany covered hillsides, and finally between the sheer granite cliffs of Impassable Canyon.
There are plenty of rapids that make the Middle Fork a first-class whitewater run. Tributaries gradually quadruple the Middle Fork's volume. As the stream transforms into a major river, quiet pools and calm stretches alternate with the rapids. The last day, the Middle Fork's full force is focused into the whitewater of Impassable Canyon. Middle Fork is a Class III-IV whitewater river, with several Class IV rapids.
Fishing on the Middle Fork of the Salmon is excellent. The Middle Fork is a "Blue Ribbon" Westslope Cutthroat trout fishery, and a spectacular dry fly fishing stream; your trip includes guided fly fishing! (More experienced anglers can arrange fishing rafts with two fishers and a guide per raft for an additional cost.)
This fully outfitted trip includes meals, beverages, sleeping gear, river gear, expert guides and more! Bring your sense of adventure and don't miss your chance to explore one of our region's most celebrated landscapes!
