Your Italian-themed night will begin with a selection of classic cocktails and hand-crafted Italian hors d'oeuvres, setting the stage for an exquisite multi-course dinner prepared by celebrated local "chef" COL Bob Maddox. Each course will feature authentic Italian flavors and regional specialties, carefully paired with fine Italian wines that will transport your palate straight to Tuscany.

The evening will conclude with a decadent dessert and warm camaraderie-an experience only possible with the gracious hospitality of these cherished KA couples.

Own an exceptionally rare bottle of W.L. Weller Full Proof (114 Proof) from a privately selected single barrel that will never be available at retail. Last year, Julian P. Van Winkle III (Zeta-Randolph-Macon '70), his son Preston, and his three sons-in-law blind-tasted five randomly selected barrels-sampling each at both barrel proof and the final bottling proof-to choose the finest of the group.

"Last year, my son Preston, my three sons-in-law, and I hand-selected a single barrel of W.L. Weller, aged about seven years, from a lineup of five randomly chosen barrels. We blind-tasted whiskey samples from each, both at barrel proof and at the final bottling proof of 114, to ensure a fair and authentic selection.
From that process, we chose one exceptional barrel-the best of the five-and just 216 bottles were filled from it. Each bottle received a custom sticker featuring a silhouette of my grandfather, Pappy, playing golf alongside his dog, Thunder, who is shown carrying his golf bag. The image is adapted from the photo that appears on the back label of our 20-year Pappy Van Winkle bottle."

None of these bottles were sold to retailers. Instead, they were reserved exclusively for the five family members involved in the selection to share with friends, family, and a select few charitable organizations.   Château de Beaucastel boasts extensive vineyard holdings and is one of the most legendary estates in the Southern Rhone Valley. With a rich heritage dating back to 1549, when Pierre de Beaucastel acquired the estate's first vineyards, the family's commitment to winemaking excellence has spanned generations.
