The Potter's Touch

Handcrafted Sea Foam Ceramic Cookie Jar by Dr. David Kalish

The potter stepped back from the wheel.

Not because the work was finished.

Displayed on a kitchen counter, dining room hutch, or holiday table, it brings warmth, craftsmanship, and character to any home.

Because the finest treasures are often the ones made by hand.

Unique artisan craftsmanship and glazing
Functional design suitable for everyday use or display
A distinctive addition to any kitchen, collection, or home décor

The Bowl of Fire

Handcrafted Fire Red Ceramic Bowl by Dr. David Kalish

The potter opened the kiln and paused.

Not out of concern.

Out of admiration.

The Ember Bowl

Handcrafted Speckled Red Ceramic Bowl by Dr. David Kalish

The potter opened the kiln and found something unexpected.

Not a perfect uniform color.

Something better.

A field of rich red punctuated by subtle speckles, each one created by the unpredictable partnership of clay, glaze, and fire. No artist could place them exactly the same way twice.

And that is precisely what makes the piece special.

Nature rarely favors perfection. Autumn leaves are speckled. River stones are flecked with color. Sunsets arrive in layers rather than a single shade.

The finest handmade pottery follows the same rules.

The Sunrise Mug

Handcrafted Orange Ceramic Mug by Dr. David Kalish

The potter lifted the mug from the kiln just as morning light streamed through the studio window.

For a moment, it was difficult to tell where the sunlight ended and the glaze began.

Warm.

Inviting.

Full of energy.

The color brought to mind the first rays of dawn cresting the horizon, the glow of autumn leaves in late afternoon, and the unmistakable comfort of a favorite beverage enjoyed at the start of a new day.

Some mugs hold coffee.

Others hold a moment.

The City as Canvas

A Macon Arts Alliance Patron Experience

The artist stepped back from the wall.

Not because the work was finished.

Because it was finally beginning to speak for itself.

The Woman in the Garden

"Nanny" Watercolor by Victoria Platt Ellis
Generously Donated by Mr. Dennis Brown

The artist paused before adding the final brushstroke.

Not because the painting was unfinished.

Because the story already was.

The finest portraits rarely reveal everything at once. They invite the viewer closer. They encourage curiosity. They leave room for imagination.

"Nanny" does precisely that.

Rendered in delicate watercolor by acclaimed artist Victoria Platt Ellis, this captivating work possesses the quiet elegance that characterizes masterful portraiture. Every wash of color, every subtle detail, and every carefully considered stroke contributes to a composition that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

The kind of piece that draws the eye.

And keeps it.

The Bluebird and the Blossoms

"Bluebird on Dogwood" Framed Print by Richard A. Parks

Generously Donated by Mr. Dennis Brown

The naturalist stopped along the trail.

Not because the path ended.

Because a flash of blue appeared among the branches.

For a moment, everything else disappeared.

The chatter of the forest. The rustle of leaves. Even the passage of time itself.

Just a bluebird perched among blooming dogwoods.

A scene so distinctly Southern that it feels less like a moment in nature and more like a living postcard.

"Bluebird on Dogwood" by Richard A. Parks captures that fleeting beauty with remarkable grace. Delicate dogwood blossoms frame one of nature's most beloved songbirds, creating a composition that celebrates renewal, tranquility, and the quiet wonders found just beyond the front porch.

Its inviting colors and timeless subject matter make it equally suited to a traditional setting or a contemporary space in need of warmth and character.

The Southern Bloom Collection

"Magnolia #1" (16/850) & "Magnolia #2" (16/850) by Judson Williams
Generously Donated by Mr. Dennis Brown

The artist stood beneath the magnolia tree.

Not to sketch it.

To study it.

The broad green leaves. The ivory blossoms. The quiet confidence of a flower that has become a symbol of the South itself.

Some subjects never lose their appeal.

The magnolia is one of them.

Elegant without being delicate. Timeless without being old-fashioned. Equally at home in a grand garden, a historic avenue, or an artist's imagination.

This beautiful set of framed prints by Judson Williams celebrates that enduring beauty through two companion works: "Magnolia #1" and "Magnolia #2." Both are limited-edition prints numbered 16 of 850, making this collection a wonderful opportunity for both art lovers and collectors alike.

The Bouquet That Never Fades

"Bouquet I" Mixed Media Artwork by Michael Clark
Generously Donated by Dr. Donna Ingram

The artist placed the final layer on the canvas.

Not a flower.

Not a brushstroke.

A feeling.

The finest floral arrangements have always shared a common challenge. Their beauty is fleeting. The blossoms fade. The colors soften. The petals eventually fall.

Art offers a different solution.

It allows a moment to linger.

"Bouquet I" by Michael Clark captures the vitality and elegance of a floral arrangement in a work that remains forever in bloom. Through the rich textures and visual depth of mixed media, the artist creates a composition that rewards every viewing, revealing new details with each glance.

The Second Arrangement

"Bouquet II" Mixed Media Artwork by Michael Clark
Generously Donated by Dr. Donna Ingram

The artist looked at a vase of flowers.

Not as a florist would.

As a storyteller.

Where others saw petals and stems, the artist saw movement. Contrast. Texture. A collection of shapes and colors waiting to be transformed into something lasting.

Flowers are among nature's most beautiful creations.

Their only flaw is that they never stay long enough.

Art, thankfully, has a different timetable.

In "Bouquet II," Michael Clark captures the vitality and elegance of a floral arrangement through the rich layers and visual depth that only mixed media can provide. The result is a work that feels both vibrant and timeless, inviting viewers to discover new details with every glance.

Professionally framed and ready for display, this piece brings color, sophistication, and artistic energy to any room. Whether featured in a living room, dining area, office, or gallery wall, it serves as an eye-catching focal point while complementing a wide variety of décor styles.

The beauty of mixed media lies in its complexity.

A blend of materials.

A layering of textures.

A creative process that rewards curiosity and close observation.

The result is more than a picture of flowers.

It is an interpretation of them.

A celebration of beauty preserved through art.

Because while bouquets may fade, great artwork continues to bloom.

This Fine Art Piece Includes:

• One framed mixed media artwork, "Bouquet II"
• Created by acclaimed artist Michael Clark

The Humble Stable

"Nativity" Wood Carving by Alirio Palacio
Generously Donated by Mr. Dennis Brown

No paint.
