How to Donate
Quilters, crocheters, knitters, and other fiber artists are encouraged to donate to our annual Quilt and Fiber Art Auction to be held Nov 24 - Dec 1.
Theme: "We all have a role" inspired by Deepa Iyer's Social Change Ecosystem Framework
What to donate: We are looking for new, handmade, fiber-based donations of all shapes, sizes, and price points! The best items are ones that can easily be shipped to all 50 states, although we do accept some larger and/or fragile items that are designated as in-store pick up only. If in doubt, reach out with your item or idea.
For quilts, lap size quilts and larger often do well. Please check out previous year pages for ideas of what to donate: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.
How to donate items: Please complete our online donation form when your item is ready to submit. You can also complete our printable donation form - please make a copy before editing - to include with your item(s). Submissions can be mailed or dropped off at GSAFE (2110 Luann Ln, Ste 101, Madison, WI 53713), Blue Bar Quilts (6333 University Ave, Middleton, WI 53562), and Barn Door Quilts (160 N 3rd Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 - by Sept 8th). Depending on capacity, we might be able to arrange for a Madison-area pickup.
Deadline: We are accepting items now through October 31st in order to give our team time to catalog and photograph your item(s). Please drop us an email at quilts@gsafewi.org if you're working on something and need a little longer.
