Have you ever wanted to get crafty with puppets? Do you dream of building your own Muppet-style character, creating a towering Parade Puppet for a community celebration, experimenting with shadow play, or pulling strings on marionettes?
Join Northern Sky Theater's Resident Designer, Lisa Schlenker, for a playful and imaginative hands-on workshop exploring the art of puppetry and visual storytelling. Participants will discover simple techniques for puppet construction and character creation while learning how puppets come to life on the maker's table. Perfect for artists, theater lovers, and the creatively curious alike - no prior experience required. Come ready to laugh, invent, and bring something delightfully unexpected to life!
One puppet will be created but up to 4 people may join in the workshop. One-on-one workshop participation is also just fine!
