A welcoming, guided coffee experience at Serenbe designed for four guests who are curious about coffee but do not need to be experts.

Tastings combine education, storytelling, sensory exploration, and Coffee Room hospitality.

A tasting led by Steven Mann, Roasting Director of Serenbe's Birdhouse Market + Coffee Roasters, that explores coffee origin, processing, roasting, and the decisions that shape flavor. An approachable introductory tasting covering aroma, acidity, sweetness, body, finish, and how to describe what you enjoy. A guided comparison of three coffees, roasts, or brewing methods with tasting notes and a simple flavor worksheet. Light social commentary and conversation, shared prompts, and time for guests to connect.

Champagne Piollot Cuvee de Reserve (magnum)

The Piollot family established themselves as growers in the Aube in the late 1800s. This is an area south of the epicenter of most Champagne production, closer to Chablis than Reims or Epernay. This issue of distance famously came to a head in 1911 when Aube farmers were removed from the Champagne classification and promptly revolted. This issue went back and forth until finally ending in 1927 when the courts ruled in favor of the Aube's inclusion. The resistance was led in part by Roland's great-grandfather, who aided in securing their right for their wine be called Champagne today.
