7 Bordeaux Legends

A distinguished collection spanning Bordeaux's greatest appellations and two of its most celebrated banks, featuring seven mature wines from storied estates. The centerpiece is the 1986 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, one of Bordeaux's legendary First Growths, from a classic Left Bank vintage known for powerful, highly structured Cabernet Sauvignon. Alongside it is the 1990 Chateau Leoville Barton, a standout Saint-Julien from one of Bordeaux's great vintages, offering the combination of ripe fruit, classic Medoc structure, and remarkable longevity for which the estate is renowned. The 1990 Chateau La Louviere represents Graves, adding another expression of Bordeaux's gravelly terroir. The Right Bank is represented by the highly sought-after 1995 Chateau Cheval Blanc and 1986 Chateau Ausone, two of Saint-Emilion's most prestigious historic estates. Cheval Blanc's 1995 is particularly notable: the vintage performed exceptionally well on the Right Bank, and contemporary and subsequent assessments have singled out Cheval Blanc as one of the wines of the vintage. Ausone 1986 is a rare and distinctive mature expression of this legendary estate, known for its limestone terroir, finesse, and longevity. Completing the collection is the 1986 Chateau Rauzan-Segla, a celebrated Margaux classified growth whose Cabernet-driven elegance and aromatic complexity make it an appealing mature Bordeaux. Together, these seven bottles offer a remarkable tour of Bordeaux, these wines have been cellared since release and are drinking beautifully.

The 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle is the standard to which other Bourbons are measured. The 2016 release is one of the most sought-after vintages of the Pappy Van Winkle line-up. It is bottled at 95.6 Proof. When enjoyed neat, there are huge notes of dry, tannic oak, worn leather, and dark cocoa. Pappy Van Winkle's legacy began in 1893 when Julian "Pappy" Van Winkle Sr. entered the bourbon business as a traveling salesman before acquiring the W.L. Weller wholesale firm and Stitzel Distillery, which became the renowned Stitzel-Weller Distillery. Known for his commitment to quality and innovation, Pappy pioneered the use of wheat instead of rye in the bourbon mash bill, creating a smoother, softer spirit that became a hallmark of the Van Winkle brand. Despite Prohibition, the family preserved its bourbon legacy, and subsequent generations continued producing Old Rip Van Winkle and, later, Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. Today, produced in partnership with Buffalo Trace Distillery, the limited-production, carefully aged bourbon has earned a legendary reputation among collectors and enthusiasts worldwide for its exceptional quality, rarity, and distinctive flavor. Mickalene Thomas Signed Print

Mickalene Thomas presents a shimmering, richly layered sold-out limited-edition print of a signature group portrait. "Girlfriends & Lovers," the original of which was created in 2008 and is in the collection of the Akron Art Museum, exemplifies the artist's trademark fusion of portraiture, pattern, and art-historical references. Drawing on 1970s pop culture, interior design, and classical group portraiture, the composition reclaims Black femininity through Mickalene's unique, intimate, and unapologetic gaze. This limited-edition print is the result of an intricate silkscreen process, with metallic shimmer layers alongside gloss and matte varnishes, carefully calibrated to echo the bold texture of the original artwork, made from acrylic, enamel, and rhinestone. The print measures 21.2 x 27.6 inches unframed and 24.2 x 30.5 x 1.2 inches framed, an archival pigment print on 410gsm Somerset Tub Sized Radiant White paper with 8 silkscreen layers, including metallic shimmer layers, a gloss varnish, and a matte varnish seal. Signed by the artist and individually numbered from an edition of 283, the print arrives with a certificate of authenticity and was released on March 17, 2026.

Lafite & Mouton Rothschild

Two of Pauillac's legendary First Growths, side by side. The 1986 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild comes from vineyards dating back to Roman times; the estate's proximity to the Atlantic moderates temperature swings, while its gravelly soil forces vine roots deep into the earth, adding minerality to the fruit long prized by European royalty. Alongside it, the 2000 Chateau Mouton Rothschild represents one of the most celebrated vintages from an estate whose own path to First Growth status took decades: after years of lobbying by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton was elevated to Premier Cru in 1973, the only change ever made to the historic 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Mouton is equally famous for commissioning a different renowned artist to design its label each vintage, a tradition begun in 1945. The 2000 vintage was an exception to this tradition: rather than commission an artist for the label, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild transformed the entire bottle into a collector's item, featuring the "Augsburg Ram," a 16th-century artwork by German master goldsmith Jakob Schenauer. Both wines are primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, celebrated for their depth, structure, and extraordinary aging potential, making this a rare opportunity to compare two of Pauillac's most storied names.
