Many of the beads used are over 50 years old and are handmade. Hand painted edges are platinum under 22k gold making each bead unique.

Gamle Perler means old beads or pearls in Norwegian. The name is an ode to Marta's vintage beads and her Norwegian grandparents who always supported her artistic endeavors.

Originally, a polymer clay artist in the 90's, she is back creating jewelry centered around vintage beads and semi-precious gem stones. A lifelong bead collector, her current collection is a culmination of years curating and each bracelet produced is one of a kind. Many of her vintage beads are over 50 years old and she loves mixing the past with the present to create something original and modern.
