linn meyers' work, known for intricate mark-making and immersive drawing installations, has been the focus of solo exhibitions at museums including the Hirshhorn, the Hammer, and the Phillips Collection. With studios in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC, meyers has established a distinctive voice in contemporary drawing and painting. meyers's work has been exhibited internationally at the AmorePacific Museum in Seoul, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Drawing Center in New York City, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. The British Museum, LACMA, the National Gallery of Art, and PAFA are among institutions that have acquired her work. meyers has been recognized with a Pollock-Krasner Award, the Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, and the Anonymous Was a Woman Award, among others. A graduate of Cooper Union and the California College of the Arts, meyers's paintings and drawings are built through labor-intensive processes that foreground the relationship between time, gesture, and the physicality of the work.
