The McSpicy
The McSpicy was born a few years ago out of a little creativity-and a lot of curiosity-when Kristi and her sister, Katie Deuel, started experimenting with infused vodka. The name itself is a nod to their roots, inspired by their maiden name, McMeekan.
After trying a range of bold (and sometimes questionable) flavor combinations, they struck gold with a perfectly balanced infusion of fresh jalapenos. The result? A smooth vodka with a subtle heat that lingers just enough to keep things interesting.
From there, the magic really happened. Paired with bright pineapple, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of simple syrup, the McSpicy came to life as the ultimate sweet-and-spicy cocktail. It's refreshing, slightly tangy, and finishes with just the right kick-making every sip both exciting and irresistible, especially with a Tajin rim!
It's the kind of drink that keeps you coming back for another-because when sweet meets heat this perfectly, it's hard to resist.
About Jay & Kristi
Jay and Kristi Mohamed's story started long before careers and kids-back when they were middle school sweethearts at West Side Middle School. Like most young love stories, theirs had a few "breaks" along the way, but it ultimately came full circle when they married in 2003.
Today, they're proud parents of three incredible daughters-19-year-old twins and a 16-year-old-who keep life full, fast-paced, and fun. Much of their time is spent exactly where they love to be: in school gyms and on the road, cheering on their girls. Whether it's high school volleyball, club tournaments across the region, basketball games, or enjoying their girls on college visits, they wouldn't trade those moments for anything.
Kristi brings a background in pharmaceutical sales and healthcare marketing, but these days she's the engine behind the household, keeping everything running as smooth as possible. When she finds a moment for herself, she enjoys staying active through tennis and workouts.
Jay's career has spanned nearly every corner of the RV industry, giving him a deep understanding of the business from the ground up. He's now channeling that experience into an exciting new venture as he helps launch Boundless Recreation-a company focused on redefining the RV lifestyle by creating innovative, flexible, and experience-driven products designed for modern travelers seeking freedom and adventure without limits. In addition, Jay stays actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Elcona Country Club and the Samaritan Center of Elkhart. When he gets the chance, you'll find him out on the golf course.
At the heart of it all, Jay and Kristi share a love for family, community, and making the most of every moment-especially the ones spent cheering on their girls. They look forward to supporting Junior Achievement and appreciate all they do for the young people in our community.
