Brian and Scott met nearly four years ago after a mutual friend introduced them, mentioning they were actually neighbors in the rural Bristol area. Neither of them believed it at first - until they finally crossed paths on the only bike ride they've managed to take in those four years.
Since then, the two have become inseparable, often referring to each other as brothers. Whether they're trying out a new restaurant, spending weekends at the lake, or traveling with their families, there's rarely a time you'll find one without the other. Among all their adventures, the Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout remains a tradition they never miss.
No matter where they are, you can count on Brian and Scott to be smiling, giving each other a hard time, and keeping everyone around them laughing - usually while their wives are busy trying to wrangle them back in.

Brian is in Customer Service at Viaggio Marine in Bristol, Indiana. He has been part of the RV/Marine Industry for over 30 years and is passionate about customer satisfaction, building relationships, and bringing people together.
Outside of work, Brian is an avid boater, and an absolute "foodie". He enjoys travelig, meeting new people and building connections. During the summer, you can often find him grilling out on the sandbar or camping with family and friends.

These types of programs are great to inspire young people to start thinking about different career options and opportunities. I remember how excited my kids were to come home from a day at JA BizTown. They couldn't stop talking about the things they learned, the people they met and the experiences they were given. We're teaching the leaders of tomorrow today, and JA BizTown is a great way to educate them about their future career options."
Scott is the VP of OEM Business Development at Flex Power, with offices in Elkhart, Indiana, and Columbus, Ohio. He is passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities, and bringing people together. Outside of work, Scott is actively involved in the community, in the past has volunteered with organizations ranging from the Center for the Homeless to Habitat for Humanity. He has also proudly attended every Taste of Achievement event since its inception.
An avid boater, outdoor enthusiast, and food connoisseur, Scott enjoys creating environments where people can connect and have fun. During the summer, you can often find him grillin and chillin at the sandbar with family and friends.

"The Bucket"
The Bucket was born more than 30 years ago at the Lake of the Ozarks, where Brian's parents would spend summers with close friends creating memories that lasted a lifetime. What started as a simple vodka "catch-all" drink passed around the group late into the night quickly became more than just a cocktail - it became a tradition filled with laughter, storytelling, friendship, and unforgettable moments.
Over the years, "The Bucket" has evolved into the refreshing, fruity gin drink you enjoy today, while still carrying the spirit and tradition of those original lake weekends. Now passed down to a new generation, we're honored to share that tradition with you.
We chose this drink in honor of Brian's late father, John Hammers - the original creator of "The Bucket" - and his late daughter, Ciarra, whose bright spirit and contagious light will never be forgotten.
