At Woodland Hill, we are like a mosaic, each of us a unique and important piece. Our individual experiences, talents, and stories come together to create something beautiful and whole. Every piece matters, and without even one, the picture would not be the same. Sara and Hannah's class, with the help of their class parents, created these mosaics to represent that together, we support, strengthen, and inspire one another, building a community where everyone belongs.

The Seed of Life is an ancient sacred geometry pattern symbolizing creation, unity, and the interconnected nature of all existence.
Formed from evenly spaced, overlapping circles, they reflect the fundamental structures found in nature, from cells to galaxies. Together, they evoke a sense of harmony and the infinite unfolding of life's hidden design.

In nature, we find ourselves. Cassandre and Kristen dove in to the concept that the outdoors can heal our souls for their class project, focusing in on just how many chances our students have to connect with the world around them.

This art represents peace as a cornerstone of Stephanie and Lynnette's classroom. Words of peace are shared yearlong as students learn more about themselves and world around them, especially this one:

May there be Peace before you, behind you, above you, below you, from your heart to your lips to everyone.

Love pours from Lilli and Callie's classroom each and every day, between both teachers and students... and students with students. This piece represents the love and respect they give one another as they work to become their truest selves.

There's a worldliness that emanates from Naomi and Ben's classroom, and understanding that as individuals we also make up important pieces of our world. Together, students and teachers learn the gifts that Mother Earth provides.

Constellations from The Hill is the result of many days of hard and thoughtful work by John and Michael's class. Students originally splattered white paint onto black paper to form their own constellations from the patterns they outlined. They then wrote their own mythos to pair with them, telling the stories of their stars. All of this work was brought together and edited into a book by school librarian, Quinn!

Kinusaiga emerged in Japan in the 1980s, attributed to Maeno Takashi. This art reflects several aspects of Japanese culture: the appreciation of imperfection and transience, resourcefulness, connection to nature, and community and tradition. The students in Michele and Linda's class spent time in the classroom making their own 4"x4" versions before moving on to their work on the Kinusaiga Sunset you see here!

There is so much creativity and heart in everything that happens in JT and Chloe's classroom. With thoughtful students, and their thoughtful stewards, you always know you'll be blown away but what comes out. Their seed paper and box are no exception! And right on theme, if we do say so!

Jenn and Ashley put their heart and soul into this special project! Hand made butterflies from the children lifting off from the hands of their incredible teachers.

The charming home features five spacious bedrooms, including four on the mid-level with a shared bathroom conveniently located between the kids' and adult rooms.
