About the artist:
Kate, a 38 year old who has been riding with Helping Horse for over 20 years. She's a life long horse person who, in spite of sustaining a life altering injury in her youth, continues to create joyful memories in the saddle. Kate has many hobbies including art and horseback riding, but she especially enjoys singing with her choral group and along with her favorite movies!

Eliana, a 12 year old who has been riding with Helping Horse for almost 2 years. She is a quick study and has developed her horsemanship skills to being almost completely independent at the walk and trot. She is a well rounded young woman who also enjoys arts and crafts, swimming, writing stories and everything horse related!
This beautiful watercolor painting was created by on of our incredible students, Eliana, to resemble our beloved Dixie. The painting itself measures about 5" by 7" and is framed in a simple black frame that showcases the bright colors of the yellow flowers in the background.
This unique artwork was created through the collaboration of several students in our therapeutic riding program and one of our volunteers, Karen Vaughan. The students used their handprints to create the horses and their thumbs to create the bumblebees on a circular wooden board.

Zendaya is a 10 year old who has been riding with Helping Horse for several years. She has done a fabulous job focusing and honing her horseback riding skills to the point where she has become more independent. She is a lover of music and travel and has ridden a horse on every trip she's taken, from Biltmore to France! The Helping Horse community is a family affair and Zendaya's sister Maya also offered to submit a piece of art to support our silent auction. We are so lucky to have such an incredible group of families!

Maya is a supporter of the organization as her sister, Zendaya, has been riding with Helping Horse for several years. The Helping Horse community is a family affair. When we reached out to our riders to ask if they would like to submit some artwork for the auction, Maya jumped in to help and created this beautiful painting. We are so lucky to have such an incredible group of families!
