Meet the tiny little girl we named Bumblebee. She came to us from a shelter that couldn't help her medically due to lack of resources. She had a left side femoral neck fracture. In other words, her thigh bone (femur) was broken and no longer connected to her pelvis. We couldn't stand the thought of this little baby being euthanized, so we transported her here right away. This is actually a common injury and one that we can fix right here in our clinic. Bumblebee did great for her surgery, and Dr. Oliver ended up adopting her! Bumblebee, now known as Rookie, is healing beautifully, and she will know nothing but love from here on out!

Boulder was found by a Good Samaritan. He was very skinny, and he was unaltered. After waiting through the stray hold to see if anyone came forward for him, we officially took Boulder into our care to get him healthy and into a home. He gained enough weight to be neutered, and he quickly turned into the healthy, grumpy-faced goofball that stole our hearts. Boulder spent some time in foster care to get used to living in a home, and he ultimately found his forever family.

Biscuit was found by a Good Samaritan and brought to Stray Rescue. He was well taken care of, but he had no form of identification. He was so scared being at the shelter. We looked everywhere we could for his owner, but no one ever stepped forward. Biscuit went into foster care while we had him on a stray hold, and after about a month of fostering him with no owners in sight, his foster adopted him and made him a part of their forever family.

Stevie was transferred to Stray Rescue from an area shelter due to head trauma resulting in secondary blindness. We knew this guy was still so deserving of life, so we were happy to have him. Being blind doesn't hold Stevie back! He is very intelligent and uses his other senses extremely well. He does require time to walk through new environments, queuing that is on his level (above noises confuse him), and proper introductions. He smells items/people first then appreciates the touch. We have used our voice first, then smell, then touch and he has been very successful and has gained a lot of confidence. He likes activity but generally mellow and is happy sitting right in your lap. He loves to play with squeaky toys. In his foster home he is potty trained and sleeps through the night. Stevie is an amazing dog and needs a home that will give him stability, proper exposure with his limitations, and love.

Pluribus was found in December 2025 with an embedded collar. She was so scared and nervous when she first arrived at the shelter, so the clinic staff worked very carefully to remove the collar and make her comfortable. After spending some time in the clinic to heal, Pluribus went to a foster home to become more trusting of people and "learn how to dog". Pluribus still exhibits some feral tendencies, but she has come a long way! Pluribus will continue living with her foster family until the right person comes along.

Meredith came to us as a 5-month-old with a badly broken femur. She recovered from a reparative surgery and is ready for her forever home. The poor girl spent months with restricted activity. She will need a patient home to help teach her how to be the best dog she can be. Meredith has lots of puppy energy and loves other dogs. She is living in a foster home awaiting her forever home!
