Unaccompanied foursome at Prairie Dunes the #16 ranked course in the US located in Hutchison, Kansas

Prairie Dunes was the top nine-hole course in America for 20 years. By the time the club found funds to expand it to 18; original architect Perry Maxwell had passed away, but his son Press was able to add nine more holes seamlessly; putting three on the front nine and six on the back. He also replicated his father's great greens; which seem to break in three different directions. Prairie Dunes reflects all that is common in rural Kansas: sand dunes; prairie grasses; yucca plants; cottonwoods and constant wind.

Site of three U.S. Opens and a quintet of PGA Championships, this Depression-era Perry Maxwell design features holes that gracefully flow across a plot of undulating ground perfectly suited for golf. For decades, the land was smothered underneath a canopy of trees but Keith Foster and then Gil Hanse have opened up the property for all to admire. Gone too are the clean-edged bunkers that never looked at home on a Maxwell design. Raves all around for how this course has evolved this century, as demonstrated by the exciting 2022 PGA Championship won by Justin Thomas.

Ranked in the Top 25 in the US and Top 75 in the WORLD. Consistently #1 in Oklahoma as well. Its a GEM!!!

Oak Tree National was originally the men's-only Oak Tree Golf Club, with 18 holes patterned after previous Dye designs (the par-3 eighth, for example, was a close cousin to his 17th at Harbour Town, complete with a basket trap on the back left). It has long been considered one of Pete Dye's sternest tests of golf, a hilly layout with numerous water hazards and deep bunkers protecting some very tiny greens, as well as gusting Oklahoma winds and gnarly Bermuda grass rough.

It's been a PGA Tour Champions fixture in recent years, hosting the 2006 Senior PGA Championship and the 2014 Senior U.S. Open.

Champions Golf Club, a staple of American dreams made real by founders Jackie Burke Jr. (1923-2024) and Jimmy Demaret (1910-1983). A year after his 1956 Masters victory in Augusta, Georgia, Burke opened Champions with Demaret, himself a three-time Masters Champion (1940, 1947, 1950), in their hometown of Houston, Texas. They enlisted fellow Houstonian Ralph Plummer to be the architect of the esteemed Cypress Creek course, which opened in 1959. Five years later, the Jackrabbit course, designed by George Fazio, was constructed adjacent to the Cypress Creek course. In 2002, George's nephew, Tom Fazio, helped update his uncle's course design.

Over the years, Champions has achieved a well-earned reputation for hosting high-profile events:
1967 Ryder Cup • 1969 U.S. Open • 1993 U.S. Amateur • 1998, 2017 Women's Mid-Amateur
1990, 1997, 1999, 2001, & 2003 The TOUR Championship
