The river is home to incredible wildlife, including countless bird species, resident osprey in the summer, bald eagles in the winter, and hummingbirds throughout the warmer months.
The property comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests and includes both a spacious main house and a charming guest cottage-ideal for families or groups traveling together.

Kiawah Island Paradise
Live ItemEnjoy a week-long stay in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom private vacation home in the popular West Beach neighborhood, just a 3 minute walk to the beach and a short bike ride to Kiawah Island's dining, shopping and family-friendly island activities. This home is offered for one week in low season, from September to May, based on availability, and is to be scheduled with the owners. This is a 7 night stay, arriving on Saturday afternoon and leaving the following Saturday morning.

Enjoy 2022 upgrades to the first level as you enter to a cozy living room with tile floors, vaulted ceilings and large windows offering loads of natural light, built-in cabinetry, a comfortable sofa and chairs and flat screen TV for entertainment. A new sliding door leads to an open deck with relaxing views of Cougar Point's 16th fairway. Adjacent to the deck on the west side of the house is a delightful screen porch with new seating and enlarged dining accommodations for six. The newly renovated kitchen and dining area offer excellent views of the fairway, and are connected with the living room by a new two-seat bar for optional dining / work space. The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and lots of counter space for preparing meals to enjoy in the expanded dining area with seating for 8.
This Kiawah golf course home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs, just off the living area, and features a queen bed and comfortable sitting space. The master bathroom connects with the hall and includes a spacious walk-in tiled shower. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the second level and share a newly renovated full bath. One has a queen bed and the other includes two twin beds.
West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island's main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah's oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe. You're an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island's world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.
