Location: 1248 W. Montana St.

Date & Time: Friday, 5/15 @ 7:00pm

Escape the usual night in and treat yourselves to a night out, sipping and savoring whiskeys (& wine) in a relaxed, intimate setting.

You'll get a lively, engaging introduction to the world of whiskey-how it's made, how to taste it like a pro, and what makes each bottle unique-then you dive into the real fun. For those who don't enjoy whiskey, we will also have wine.

The fun begins: a guided blind tasting of 6-8 carefully selected whiskeys where you can put your palate to the test by guessing each bottle's identity. The guest with the sharpest taste buds will take home a small prize!

Light snacks and appetizers, plus beer and wine, will keep the night flowing, making this the perfect blend of flavor, fun, and friendly competition-a date night you won't forget.

Hosts: Emily Doskow & Danielle Hadi

Location: The Doskow's, 1238 W Altgeld St.

Date & Time: Sat, 5/16 @ 6-9pm

Inspired by Has Hemmert's legendary 1997 Same-Height Party, you're invited to an evening where gravity, hierarchy, and inches don't stand a chance. Before the party, guests will share their height and shoe size so we can craft custom platform shoes that bring everyone to a perfectly level 6'4". For most of the night, we'll all see eye-to-eye-literally-while enjoying heavy appetizers, wine, beer, and excellent company in a wonderfully warped social experiment. Then, for the final 30 minutes, the rules shift: the men remove their shoes, the women stay elevated, and the balance of power (and perspective) tilts. Come for the drinks and snacks, stay for the playful absurdity, and leave having experienced a party that messes-politely and stylishly-with your sense of scale.
