To sustain and expand the legacy of the OSU Judging Program we are aiming to "fill the hat" to replace and update the vans and transportation for our Judging Teams. This travel support will enable the purchase of new 15-passenger vans and continued maintenance to transport students to workouts and contests across the country. These vans are essential to the program's operations, logging more than 20,000 miles annually. Reliable transportation allows the program to reduce costs, freeing up resources to award additional student scholarships and cover additional travel expenses for students. A commitment to this initiative is a commitment to the future. Your support will directly impact students' ability to compete, learn, and grow-while also helping OSU maintain its tradition of excellence. We invite you to join us in driving the next century of success for the OSU Judging Teams by helping us fill the hat. You can add cash to the Cowboy Hat in-person, provide a gift online with item 199 or at an additional donation at checkout this evening, just mention Judging Van Support.
The OSU Animal Science Alumni Association is honored to recognize Dr. Jimmy Wise as the 2026 Hall of Fame Chairback Recipient.
Support from the Chairback Campaign will be directed to a fund in Dr. Wise's honor to support the OSU Meat Judging Team.
Join the ASAA in their commitment to sustaining the Purebred/Teaching Center Endowments within the OSU Department of Animal and Food Sciences. By contributing, you are supporting the operation and maintenance of each Center, ensuring our facilities and purebred herds will be sustained for current and future Cowboys. Your support will contribute to student employment, feed, vet expenses, equipment and facility improvements.
The Animal and Food Sciences Undergraduate Research Scholars Program Fund supports undergraduate students involved in research. Support from this fund provides stipends to undergraduate students. These provide support for lab and/or animal supplies, poster and printing costs, travel to scientific meetings to present their research, or to different locations to learn a specific technique.
Your donation allows the ASAA to support the greatest needs of the department and association.
